Jenalee Kluttz

Jenalee Kluttz is a Liu Scholar and PhD student in the Department of Educational Studies researching adult learning and social action. She focuses on adult education within social movements related to environmental justice and climate change. Her current projects explore individual and collective learning within the climate justice movement focusing on activism in localized opposition to the fossil fuel industry. Some of her other research interests include climate change education, education for sustainability more broadly, and community engaged learning.

Prior to coming to the University of British Columbia, Jenalee worked as a lecturer at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia researching international educational policy, social justice imperatives in basic education, and agricultural education for climate change adaptation.
