In the wake of the Huawei CFO scandal, SPPGA Professor Paul Evans outlines the potential impacts this event could have on Canada-China relations in The Globe and Mail op-ed, Canada Is Caught in the Middle of a China-U.S. Tech War. For more on the trade war and “technical nationalism”, check out his interview on BBC News (Chinese only).

Professor Evans delves into worsening Canada – China tensions in interviews for  CBC RadioGlobe and MailBBC Radio 5 (Starts at 14:18), CTV NewsVoice of America, Global National Television, BNN Bloomberg, Tri-City News, the National Post, the BBC News (Chinese only), CGTN America, the Vancouver Courier.

Professor Evans also did a series of Chinese interviews for Fairchild TV (1, 2)(Cantonese only), Talentvision (Mandarin only), and Phoenix TV (Mandarin only) on the Meng Wanzhou affair.
