Call for Applicants – English / Mandarin Chinese Interpreter

A two-week executive training program will be offered by the Institute of Asian Research for delegates of the Chinese government from August 14 to 25, 2017. The first week of the training program will be held in the UBC Point Grey campus and the second week will be held in Ottawa, Ontario (venue to be finalized). Under the supervision of the Strategic Development and Partnership Manager, the translator/interpreter will provide sequential interpretation between English and Mandarin Chinese during lectures and translate English course materials into Chinese.

Position’s pay rate is $30 per hour.

Candidates must be a current UBC student.
