WL S18 Program Assistant, UBC Himalaya Program

The Program Assistant will work closely with the Himalaya Program Steering Committee (comprised of five diverse faculty members across UBC’s Faculty of Arts) in the summer of 2018, to develop and maintain pedagogical, community outreach and social media projects. Launched in 2015, the Himalaya Program draws upon faculty expertise across UBC’s schools and faculties, student engagement, and community partnerships to create an interdisciplinary hub for sharing knowledge about the Himalayan region, including Bhutan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and the Tibetan cultural zones that traverse all of these countries.
