Dr. Qiang Fu is Associate Professor of Sociology and the Co-Director of the Centre for Chinese Research at the University of British Columbia. His research projects focus on a variety of topics including social and discursive construction of Chinese history, everyday life in Chinese cities, and politics of law and legalization of politics in China. His recent publications have appeared in journals such as American Journal of Epidemiology, American Journal of Sociology, Annals of the American Association of Geographers, Annals of Epidemiology, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A, and Sociological Methods & Research.
