The School of Public Policy and Global Affairs (SPPGA) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for Adjuncts and Sessional Lecturers to teach our Global Policy Project course for the Winter 2025-2026 academic term.
PPGA_V 590 (6) Global Policy Project:
The course is a professional team-based project that incorporates training, feedback on project proposals, possible field work, engagement with client organizations, data gathering and analysis, and a major deliverable such as a policy report. It is restricted to students in the Master of Public and Global Affairs. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
In-person instruction, Winter Terms 1 and 2 | Wednesdays, 9:30am-12:30am, UBC Point Grey Campus.

- Recent evaluations or other evidence of teaching effectiveness,
- Names and contact information for three references including at least one academic reference.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least ten years of relevant work experience in Public Policy and Global Affairs
- Demonstrated teaching ability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters and/or PhD in Public Policy and Global Affairs or relevant discipline
- Project management and consulting experience an asset
- Teaching using experiential education
All positions are subject to availability of funds and will be governed by UBC’s “Agreement on Conditions of Appointment for Sessional Lecturers.” The minimum salary (effective 2024W) will be $9,559.11 per 3-credit course.
