About the Project: This project focuses on the feasibility of a regional tenant protection during redevelopment framework within the Victoria Capital Region. It explores opportunities and challenges associated with pursuing greater alignment across the region’s municipal tenant protection approaches, identifies which local governments would be best aligned with the City of Victoria for regional collaboration, and examines potential policy or legislative updates to support such collaboration. Through research and stakeholder engagement, the project aims at building awareness, shared understanding, and consensus around opportunities for regional approaches to tenant protection during redevelopment.
