Once again, we celebrate another extraordinary cohort graduating from the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program here at the University of British Columbia.

Over the last two years, MPPGA’s graduating Class of 2026 has tackled complex policy challenges, strengthened their leadership, and collaborated across borders to create meaningful impact. They have spent days and nights studying, analyzing, and challenging the very issues that are shaping our world today.

From grappling with technological developments challenging the world order to understanding democratic backsliding, and writing essays upon essays about international affairs, these students have demonstrated a perseverance and dedication to becoming global leaders that will produce immeasurable success.

“While today marks the end of your time in this program and here at UBC, it does not mark the end of your connection to one another or to the school. You leave not just with a degree, but with a network, a community, and a shared purpose.”
