You’re welcome to join us whatever your background or interest in Classical/Literary texts. We will be reading primary sources, generally connected to the participants’ research interests, with a center of gravity in the Ming but by no means exclusive to that period (hence the name). The goal is to work together on language skills, to think about how to use primary sources for research, and to share the wide range of expertise that members of the China studies community can bring in.
