KPP Seminar Celebrating Canada-Korea 60th Diplomatic Relations

Prof. Kyung-Ae Park, Director of the Knowledge Partnership Program (KPP), organized a seminar in Seoul on North Korea’s foreign policy in partnership with the Embassy of Canada in South Korea. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and South Korea, the event brought together leading experts from Canada, Korea, and the US who contributed to the book, “North Korea’s Foreign Policy: The Kim Jong-un Regime in a Hostile World,” which Prof. Park co-edited with Scott Snyder of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations.

The Canadian Embassy extended invitations to scholars, policy experts, and diplomats stationed in Seoul, fostering a platform for in-depth discussions on North Korea’s external relations. Following the seminar, a networking reception provided additional opportunities for meaningful interactions.
