Applications are now closed to join UBC’s Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs (MPPGA) program this fall.
To give you a sense of hands-on learning opportunities that our professional MPPGA program offers, please browse the list below:

  • Global Policy Project (GP2): Help shape global policy by working closely with team members and a client on a real-world policy challenge. You’ll gather data in the field, conduct analysis, and design and test possible solutions. Learn more about our students’ recent experiences in Timor-Leste and India here.
  • Co-op Program: Gain paid work experience in a policy-related profession in placements around the world. MPPGA students recently enjoyed learning how to enhance their resumes and cover letters, build their personal brand, and sharpen their interview skills while networking with twenty policy professionals, including MPPGA Co-op employers, at a full-day conference at UBC. Learn more about the conference here.
  • Policy Practitioner Sessions: Facilitate or participate in exclusive, in‑depth discussions with leading policy practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and geographies. Learn more about our recent series of speakers here.
