Dr. Kyung-Ae Park, Director of the Canada-DPRK Knowledge Partnership Program (KPP), was widely featured in American, Canadian, North Korean, South Korean, and Chinese media reports and broadcasts over the past week for the conference that she organized in Pyongyang, North Korea, “Promoting Sustainable Development in the DPRK.” The conference fostered active academic exchanges between North Korean and international environmental experts on climate change, sustainable tourism, and the management of forests, water, waste, and agriculture.
