Reflections on Community Engaged Research with ORICE

UBC’s Office of Regional and International Community Engagement (ORICE) offers experiential education programs that connect academic learning with real-world impact. In this video, students reflect on their experiences conducting community-engaged research across diverse global and local contexts. With projects spanning mental health systems strengthening in Kenya, gender-based violence analysis in BC, and human rights advocacy for imprisoned scholars, students share how their research has contributed to a variety of community-based organizations.
