Work Learn W17: Development Assistant, Institute of Asian Research

This position supports IAR’s Strategic Development and Partnerships Manager in the area of development initiatives. This position combines administrative responsibilities related to donor development, fundraising, community engagement, and support of events hosted by the Institute and its Centre/Programs/research projects. The IAR Development Assistant has a wide range of learning opportunities and duties of varying complexity. S/he provides invaluable support and input to the Institute in its efforts to continue to broaden its links with current and potential partners in the government, NGOs and the private sector. The Institute’s success is largely dependent on establishing and deepening its links and ties with a growing group of potential IAR partners whilst continuing to further ties with its current partners. The IAR Development Assistant will have an opportunity to contribute towards shaping IAR’s partnerships.
