Krista (she/her) has a background in community engagement, experiential learning, local and international partnership management and facilitation. Krista first connected with ORICE in 2013 during her undergraduate degree in International Relations when she participated in an International Service Learning experience with The AIDS Support Organisation (TASO) in Kampala, Uganda. Before joining ORICE, Krista served as the MPPGA Program Manager and then the Global Policy Project Advisor. She is currently completing her Masters in Education Studies. Krista is a settler of Western European ancestry who was raised in the Lower Mainland and has called the territories of the səl̓ilwətaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh-ulh Temíx̱w (Squamish), and šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaɁɬ təməxʷ (Musqueam) home for fifteen years. She thrives on relationships, community building, facilitation, and critical education.
