CARE Climate Leadership Program – Apply by April 15



As a part of the CARE program, the CARE Climate Leadership program is a flexible, fully online, 8-module program designed to help you build the skills needed to lead effective climate action. Through engaging modules, you’ll explore everything from climate finance and innovation to communication and collaboration whilst developing skills that will prove essential for driving change. This Leadership program is made to fit alongside your current studies and to prepare you to help create the future you want. The first four modules will be offered in Spring 2025; the remaining four modules will be offered in Spring 2026.

Spring 2025 Modules: The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5-7 PM CET (Toronto: 11 AM – 1 PM / Vancouver: 8-10 AM) on the following dates:

  • Leadership in Uncertainty & Complexity: 30 April 2025
  • Systems Thinking & Climate Complexity: 14 May 2025
  • Climate Policy, Governance & Justice: 28 May 2025
  • Climate Communication & Storytelling: 11 June 2025

Application Deadline: Tuesday 15 April 2025, at 8 PM CEST (Toronto: 2 PM / Vancouver: 11 AM)

Selection Results: Selected students will be notified by Tuesday 22 April 2025. Applicants must be masters level graduate students from a CARE partner university studying climate/environment to qualify.
