UBC MPPGA students Laurélène Faye and Elisha Connell were in Paris in December 2016 on a research trip to partake in colloquium debriefings with those behind the COP21 Paris Treaty. This included meeting Laurent Fabius, head of the French constitutional court, former President of COP21 and former French Foreign Minister.
This opportunity was supported by the Saint Simon Initiative funded by the French Government and coordinated by UBC Professor Yves Tiberghien, Director of the Institute of Asian Research, UBC.
