We are saddened by the recent passing of Associate Professor Ian Townsend-Gault. Ian was the Founding Director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies at the Allard School of Law at UBC, as well as a Faculty Associate at the Centre for Southeast Asia Research. There will be a ceremony of remembrance for friends and colleagues on October 4, 2017 in the Terrace Lounge, Allard Hall from 4-6 pm.
