On December 7, 2022 SPPGA Prof. Paul Evans taught his final class, bringing 42 years of university teaching to a close. The last seminar for Political Science 460 (Global China and the Fragmenting World Order) was open to past and present students, friends, colleagues, staff, and faculty who came to pay tribute and raise a glass in honour of Evans who will be retiring from UBC in June of 2023.
Paul Evans (PhD with distinction Dalhousie University 1982) has been a Professor at the University of British Columbia since 1999, teaching Asian and trans-Pacific international relations. Read more about his teaching and research here.
