Jawad Hussain Qureshi is a Senior South Asia Analyst with the International Analysis Division of the National Security Council Secretariat, Privy Council Office, Government of Canada. Since 2009, he has led policy-neutral assessments of foreign, security, and geopolitical developments across South Asia for senior federal decision-makers, including the National Security and Intelligence Advisor and the Prime Minister’s Office. His career began with the International Crisis Group as a South Asia analyst before moving into broadcast journalism in Pakistan. Mr. Qureshi is also a previous SPPGA Practitioner Fellow, Adjunct Professor and Honorary Research Associate at SPPGA, where he teaches and mentors emerging policy professionals.
