Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs (MPPGA) alumni are a growing network of professionals committed to addressing pressing and complex public policy and global affairs challenges facing communities around the world.
During their time in the professional MPPGA program at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia, they pursued opportunities for further professional growth, engaged on real-world policy problems with client organizations during the Global Policy Project, refined their skills across the policy lifecycle, and cultivated their expertise in the stream electives that our program offers.
During our 2022 Spotlight on MPPGA Alumni Careers series, eight MPPGA alumni shared their experiences inside and outside of the classroom that contributed to their career journey and outlined the meaningful policy roles they are engaged in now. This particular series highlighted alumni careers focused on the environment as well as careers focused on the advancement of education, rights, and health for Indigenous people.
